A Place Built for Growth
Not everyone walks into their first sales job knowing exactly what they're doing. That's not a weakness; it's just the reality of starting something new. What matters is the environment you step into and the people who show up for you along the way. At Kunes Buick GMC of Oak Creek, that environment is something we take seriously, and Isaiah Gonzalez is living proof of what it looks like when it works.
Isaiah joined our team without a background in automotive sales. What he found here wasn't just a job. It was a daily commitment to getting better, a clear process to learn, and a group of people genuinely invested in his success. Today, he's one of our sales managers, and his path from the sales floor to that role says everything about the culture we've built at this store.
The Kunes Difference
Isaiah is straightforward about the fact that things changed when Kunes took over the dealership. The atmosphere shifted. The expectations got clearer. And the investment in people became real and consistent.
"When Kunes took over, it was definitely a different atmosphere," Isaiah says. "Brian came in and he really focused on me every day. He made me go to the next level and sharpened my sales skills in a way I hadn't experienced before."
That kind of individualized attention isn't something you find everywhere in this industry. At Kunes Buick GMC of Oak Creek, we believe the best dealerships aren't built on pressure tactics or turnover. They're built on developing people, giving them the tools to succeed, and staying committed to that process day after day.
The People Who Made Him Better
Ask Isaiah about his growth and he doesn't hesitate to share credit. He'll name names, because to him, the people around him aren't just coworkers. They're the reason he's where he is today.
Tyler, Dylan, and fellow sales managers Tony and Tony are all part of the story Isaiah tells about his own career. "They literally made me better every single day when I was in sales," he says. "And now that I'm a manager, they still help me out. I really wouldn't be anywhere without any of them."
That kind of mutual investment is what separates a great workplace from just another job. When your colleagues are rooting for you, coaching you, and pushing you forward, growth stops feeling like a grind and starts feeling like momentum.
More Than a Team, It's a Family
One word comes up again and again when Isaiah talks about Kunes Buick GMC of Oak Creek: family. It's not a word he uses casually. He means it in the most practical sense, the kind of familiarity that comes from working side by side with people you genuinely know and trust.
"It's like a family here, which is nice because you get to know everybody on a personal level," Isaiah explains. "You work with them, you make everybody else better, and they make you better at the same time."
That dynamic shows up most clearly when the store hits a milestone. When a record gets broken, it doesn't just belong to one person. It belongs to the whole team, and everyone feels it.
"Every time we break a record, we're always congratulating everybody as a family," Isaiah says. "It's a whole big accomplishment for everybody. Obviously as a salesperson you have your own individual wins, but hitting a store goal together? That feeling is just better."
